“ This place is excellent! Service was great and all the food came out fast. I had the short ribs udon soup. The beef broth is great the short ribs were pretty tender. I also got the 3 for 16.50 sushi. All the sushi was good and could've been a meal by itself. I finished off with a delicious strawberry smoothie! ”
“ Outside probably looks like a small place but surprisingly much bigger and nicer with a great ambience inside the restaurant. Food was good and came out quickly. Service was also good. Price was not bad for Japanese restaurant and the selection of food was great. ”

“ TLDR: great food and great prices, go and enjoy it all. I didn’t have an unpleasant bite the entire meal. I started with the brisket soup. The broth was super flavorful and the meat was excellent. The vegetables were still crunchy which I love. They seem to tout their homemade noodles. They were fine, but having had other incredible homemade noodles I honestly wasn’t impressed, they are just decent noodles. I did the 3 for 15 sushi roll deal and had spicy yellowtail and Alaska rolls. Boy was I impressed. The quality of the fish was top notch and the spicy yellowtail was VERY impressive. I finished up with a taro bubble tea and wish I had gotten a large, it was so good and the tapioca balls were absolutely perfect. ”
“ One of the best sushi spots in University City! We stopped in late one night not expecting much, and ordered seaweed salad, takoyaki, and a few rolls. Everything was divine! The takoyaki was hot out of the fryer, super crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside-- my favorite dish. The rolls were also fresh and had lots of flavor w/o soy sauce or wasabi. Service was nice and friendly. Would definitely come back again. ”
